i'm building a body where our design has failed

Guess who's a scattered mess today! Hint, it's me. It's generally me.

I was supposed to be at my mother's for the day Saturday to finish some stuff to sell, and get home around midnight/1 am so I could be home all Sunday and get packing and such done before we leave for the festival Tuesday morning. But it turned out my doing that was going to end in my mother having to drive her asshole ex back and forth to work, and in us not quite getting everything done, so I stayed overnight and asked that she try to get me home around 11 am.

I got home at 3:30 in the afternoon, after two and a half hours in the car driving my brother's friend home from the weekend they spent there. Who I did not know would be there until the day before I went. So that was twice as many people as I expected in the house I was in for a good 12 hours longer than expected.

It wasn't a bad time, generally -- G's friends are fine, they keep to themselves; my mother and I got a lot done, and marathoned an interesting TV show to boot, and I got to be around for Mother's Day breakfast, which was both nice to be there for and delicious. But it fucked me up a little, schedule-wise and also exhaustion-wise. I also did not sleep very much while there. And now I have many many things left to do and like 26 hours left to do it, because first I napped and then I spent the night fucked up emotionally for various reasons.

I am trying not to stress too much, but it's not working real well.

So yes. I have many things to do today, but I'm gonna try and do all the Tarot stuff between doing those things. And then tomorrow I leave for Tennessee! We should be back Monday night, but not til at least 10 or 11 at night, and then there's stuff to take care of Tuesday, so it's entirely possible I won't entirely exist until Tuesday night at earliest.

Well wishes and luck is greatly appreciated, because I'm still nervous as fuck about the salesman aspect of it, even if I have the Tarot stuff pretty down.
