Date: 2016-02-12 05:00 am (UTC)I'm really bad at pointing out genres of music, to be honest? I'm never quite sure what falls under what heading. I can tell you that I've been listening to a looooot of Broadway lately; but I've also been listening to Fall Out Boy radio on Pandora, which has a loooot of late 90s pop cropping up on it, and occasionally slipping into Sirena, who are really hard for me to classify, or Dessa, who I at least know is basically rap/hip-hop.
Genres are weird, okay. I get so much of my music by people sitting me down and going "listen to this!" that it's hard for me to classify a lot of it.
Same question back on you, if you don't mind. :)

and unfortunately it's really hard for me to think of caretaker songs that are more about... being a caretaker than they are about talking to the people you take care of? But this is the closest I have, and I have... really deep chords that are struck by this song that I just can't explain:
